Visitors
Visitors
Beit Shalom Adelaide is fortunate to host a variety of visitors. In order to make your visit easier, we are pleased to provide the following information.
Eating out
Adelaide has a tiny tiny Jewish population, so if you are staying Strictly Kosher, your best bet will be the vegetarian / vegan scene.
If, however, you are after Kosher style food, but not a strict Kosher kitchen, there are many more options. Our favourites include
The Flying Fig in North Adelaide.
Africola ( East Terrace in the City)
Grocery
A limited range of groceries such as Matzah and Yahrzeit candles is available at Coles Burnside.
Shabbat Hospitality
For Shabbat home hospitality please email in advance of your visit and we will do our best to find a table for you
Services
If you are a new visitor and wish to attend services please do call or email in advance - we welcome visitors but we have security protocols. The following form should be sent to the office or rabbi to assist with security screening:
Friday Kabbalat Shabbat is 6pm, Saturday Shabbat is 10.30am.
