Since 1963, Beit Shalom Synagogue has been a place of prayer, of learning and of community. We are one of the most remote Jewish communities in the world, which means we have a real DIY ethos. A majority of Beit Shalom members were born overseas, and so we often become family for one another.
We were founded on the principles of equality and openness, and we strive to be an inclusive environment for all who walk through our doors. We warmly welcome interfaith families and relationships, LGBTQ+ members, people of all ages, abilities and ethnicities.
